JHS Initiatives

As a third-party inspection company, we want to work together with our constructors to create a future "house-building system" through rigorous inspections to provide safe and secure homes with construction quality. JHS provides solutions and total support at each step of the housing lifecycle, from quality inspections for new construction, to routine maintenance during occupancy, to building condition inspections at the time of sale.

To create a home where you can live with peace of mind, we perform building inspections on behalf of construction companies that are often short-staffed. Furthermore, we assist customer satisfaction by converting the construction conditions into data. This helps visualize problems at the site and leads to quality improvement.

Inspectors who are qualified architects will examine the construction conditions for up to 10 processes, which include foundation reinforcement, structural framing, and waterproofing.

Final Completion Inspection

The inspection of the conditions upon completion and the finishing of repairs before handover are conducted in one day.

02 Your home, for many years to come.- After service maintenance -

Periodic inspections after handover are one of the most important opportunities to maintain relationships with former builders. While an increase of housing units is a good thing, we also hear of cases where builders are concerned about operational efficiency. We provide a variety of services, from the outsourcing of periodic inspections to equipment warranties and call center services, in order to support your home-related concerns.

The concept behind our periodic inspection service is that we take on this responsibility so that construction companies can concentrate on their core duties.

Repair and Maintenance

We also act as an agent for repairs and maintenance after periodic inspections.

Call Center Service

A call center service specializes in responding to inquiries and problems concerning residence and equipment.

Equipment Warranty

We offer up to 10 years of service equivalent to the manufacturer’s warranty on home equipment. You can rest assured even after the manufacturer’s warranty has expired.

JHS's equipment warranty is a joint warranty between us and other housing companies.

Emergency Response Service

For issues concerning waterworks, locks, glass and windows, a specialist emergency response company will be on site and provide immediate support

03 Passing on the home to the next generation- Building conditions survey and home-owners warranty -

From home inspections to seismic diagnosis and ground surveys. By ‘visualizing’ quality, we can provide real estate transactions that satisfy both sellers and buyers. We help to ensure the asset value of your home while passing it on to the next generation.

Building Condition Survey

Qualified architects conduct inspections (visual and non-destructive) in accordance with the building condition survey as stipulated by the government to understand the conditions of the house.

Leakage Inspection

A customized liquid that becomes luminous when exposed to ultraviolet rays is poured from the outer walls and roof of the structure to discover rainwater entry points.

Only detached houses (wooden and steel-framed) are eligible.

Existing Housing Warranty

The warranty will cover damages caused by hidden defects in the warranted parts after the delivery of a house that has been determined to be compliant with the building condition survey.

Improving construction quality and developing on-site supervision

As a third-party organization, JHS inspects the 10 priority processes of construction quality control, compiles them into a photo attached report, and establishes a clear checking system that does not leave the work to carpenters and craftsmen.

While conducting on-site inspections to improve construction quality, JHS also alleviates the shortage of workers for conducting inspections.

As the site supervisor is always present during inspections, they can develop an 'eye' for important points; training of the site supervisor to perform high-quality constructions.

After conducting a certain number of building quality inspections, our expert staff will conduct an analysis of the different areas and supervision based on the accumulated data. We will then summarize this into a report that provides for an examination and future points to improve on, allowing for us to work together to support the improvement of on-site construction quality.

In addition to the findings of individual tests, knowing statistical trends leads to further improvement.

In addition to supporting on site quality control that may be difficult to see, we also help visualize and improve the quality of defective areas of construction.

Striving to refine, standardize, and streamline inspections of exterior walls during building inspections of existing homes, we have collaboratively developed and patented an AI (artificial intelligence) diagnostic system for exterior wall cracks.

This system is expected to contribute to the revitalization of the existing home distribution market as a means of rationally explaining the conditions of the exterior walls of existing homes.

Participation in the Architectural Institute of Japan and publication of papers

The Architectural Institute of Japan, is an academic organization dedicated to the advancement and development of the science, technology, and art of architecture. As a member of such institute, JHS has published numerous research papers in the field of architecture, particularly in the field of residential geotechnics. In recent years, we have also been actively conducting joint research presentations with universities.
